                                                            Safety Guide to London

In this section, we will tell you about the basic details about your safety in the city.

Traveling to London is very safe, however, as one of the famous tourist destinations in the world, it’s always wise to take personal precautions.

Pickpockets can be prominent and common in crowded areas but taking precautions can lessen your chances of being a victim.

                                                            Simple Safety Tips are:

                                                            • Do not lose your sight away from your belongings.
                                                            • Keep your bags in front of you especially in very crowded areas.
                                                            • Do not keep a large amount of money in your pockets. Better use credit cards.
                                                            • If someone asks to help you with your things, do not accept it.
                                                            • In London, cars are driven on the left. So be careful and use only designated crossroads.
                                                            • Also, take precautions in wearing football shirts that may be misinterpreted as support for a specific team. Because in the UK, football teams are taken seriously.

Always keep in mind that everywhere you travel can be different from where you came. Adjustments and precautions should be taken to stay safe. Be smart and vigilant, always.

                                                            Must-Do’s in London

I bet by now, you have already decided on the best hotel to stay in London. And since you are ready to be settled, let’s tackle the things to do in the city.

                                                            Tower of London

Nearly a 1000-year old, the Tower of London is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that you should not miss.

The Tower of London is officially Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Conqueror’s fortress.

If you wish to see the Crown Jewels of the British Monarchy, I advise you to book ahead. Being one of the iconic sights in London will surely flock many tourists which will lead to long lines.

Good to know: When you are visiting during winter, the Tower is open until 5:00 but the last admission is at 4:00 PM. Most importantly, anyone arriving after this point will not be able to enter.

                                                            London Eye

See the entire city 443 feet or 135 meters above the ground and marvel at the wonderful view at the London Eye.

Take your time to appreciate London in the world’s second tallest Ferris wheel.

And since this is also famous among tourists, with over 3.75 million visitors annually, book your tickets ahead and skip the lines.

The question is, what is the best time to visit? I suggest you catch the time before sunset where the colors are vibrant and beautiful.

                                                            Good to know:

Aside from the amazing view from the top, you get to experience one of the tallest buildings in London free of charge.

Security Check and Pets: Moreover, they enforce airport-style security checks at Sky Garden and therefore large bags and suitcases are not permitted. And sadly, pets are not permitted.

Best time to come here: Before sunset – so you’re just in the right time to see the city by day and night.
