The Good Hotel, as the name suggests, is created for the greater good.
It was a floating prison turned into a non -profit and pure industrial design hotel. A social business initiative that helps the unemployed and the disadvantaged by giving them an opportunity to have stable work.
By booking a stay in the Good Hotel, local communities are supported and more social work can be done. And this includes educating disadvantaged children in Guatemala.
The Good Hotel offers a waterfront location and a rooftop terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
While it can be a little far from most sightseeing spots, it is still well worth staying as it offers good service and it gives you a chance to support a good cause while traveling.
All rooms at the hotel offer modern decors and boast either water or city views. Each room is equipped with en suite bathrooms with showers, in-room safes, tea making facilities, as well as work desks.
There are no available TVs or sofas in the rooms. However, guests are encouraged to use the shared guest lounge to chill and relax. And maybe meet new friends from all parts of the world.
The hotel has its in-house cafe-restaurant, The Living Room. Guests can enjoy espresso drinks, refreshing healthy beverages, or delicious comfort food. The rooftop terrace, on the other hand, is an open-air cafe that overlooks London and River Thames.
