The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel is a boutique hotel set in the Financial District. It is an old-world glamour meets modern luxury.

Up to this day, you can still see its unparalleled structures and architectural integrity. Touches that have remained for more than a hundred years.

The Beekman boasts its nine-story atrium that is centered by a pyramidal skylight. A one-of-a-kind feature of the hotel that has been restored beautifully.

And as you enter the hotel, you will see that it illuminates the hotel from within. And each floor of the atrium is bordered by balconies and overlooks the lobby.

Moreover, the rooms and suites are designed with customized beds and leather headboards. It also has enlarged door openings and aged oak floors. The room comes with cocktail tables and curated artworks.

Aside from this, the hotel also gives plenty of dining options to choose from. There is the Temple Court.  The restaurant that serves a la carte and five-course tasting menu. Another is The Bar Room located below the hotel’s atrium. It serves handcrafted cocktails alongside an all-day menu.

Furthermore, there is also Augustine which is a brasserie-style restaurant. It is open to serve from breakfast through supper. And the last is Alley Cat which is an amateur theater lounge.

Good to know: Since the hotel is classic, the old-fashioned elevators takes time and may not be as fast as the modern ones.
