Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is a hotel smacked in the middle of Amsterdam’s finest attraction.

It is just located with almost everything within a reasonable walking distance. It also has a magnificent view to boot, with the gorgeous canal out front and a huge garden outback.

Location is always a huge consideration when looking for a place to stay and Waldorf Astoria just chose that perfect spot in Herengracht, one of Amsterdam’s most exclusive yet undeniably accessible areas. It’s also a UNESCO Heritage Area dating back in the 1600s.

The hotel’s design is classic and reminiscent of its prime period but with a bit of contemporary yet elegant style. It’s complete with 17th-century ceiling paintings, sweeping double staircase, modern lamps, and chandeliers, as well as stylish staff uniforms. It’s safe to say that this hotel is truly fine art.

Waldorf Astoria offers 93 rooms, lofts, and suites, all of which are brightly and uniquely decorated. It comes with plush furnishings, flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, and designer toiletries. Suites have living areas and unique individual features like fireplaces and painted ceilings.

It cannot be denied that Waldorf Astoria offers a very elegant vibe, thus, some people may find the reception a little too formal. The staff is still friendly and helpful, though, and they are truly nice when it comes to dealing with their guests.
