Nestled in the historic Giannini Building in Downtown is The NoMad Los Angeles. The building was originally built during the 1920s as the headquarters for the Bank of Italy. But it was in January 2018 when the hotel opened its doors.

And up to this time, you will be able to see touches of the bank that has been kept as a unique feature of the property. You will find even the original bank vault weighing 50 tons as the hotel’s chic restrooms for the restaurant and lobby.

Aside from some old touches of the building, the rooms are detailed with original artworks from a Paris-based design studio. Rooms are also equipped with a fully stocked minibar, toiletries, and bathrobes. The baths have standalone pedestal bathtubs and offer separate rooms for wash closets.

Moreover, the hotel’s restaurant provides an Italian-inspired dining room at the Mezzanine. The restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner, and even brunch during the weekends. On the other hand, room service is available 24 hours a day.

And if you love coffee, you can get a dose of your daily caffeine at The Coffee Bar that imitates a cafe in Venice. Aside from coffee, you can also get freshly baked pastries here.

Last but not the least, we should not forget to mention the hotel’s pride, The Rooftop. It is a perfect spot to catch the sunset and see the wonderful view of Los Angeles beautiful skyline. It features an outdoor café, cocktail bar, and the rooftop pool.

However, the cafe and bar are open to the public throughout the day but the pool are reserved for hotel guests only.
