Sir Adam Hotel
The coolest design hotel in Amsterdam for trendy peopleTotal number of rooms: 108 | Prices start from 180 US$
Personally, Sir Adam Hotel is our absolute favorite place to stay in Amsterdam! A hip, contemporary and music-focused boutique hotel in a 70’s skyscraper along the Amsterdam IJ-river.
The rooms come with a beautiful, panoramic view of the city. And the overall design is trendy and hip, without overdoing it.
For us, Sir Adam is the best Hipster Hotel in Amsterdam!
Along with a music library and studios for guests to collaborate, each room features a stunning panoramic view of the city of Amsterdam.
Furthermore, Sir Adam Hotel occupies the first eight floors of the tower. Thus, gives you great access to many Amsterdam opportunities in the tower alone.
In particular, you are just a few floors away from the perfect chance to try the revolving rooftop restaurant which is famous in the city.
Also, located in the tower, is the popular A’dam Lookout observation deck where you’ll see Amsterdam, its famous canals that belong to the UNESCO world heritage list, and its unique Dutch polder landscape.
Going back to Sir Adam Hotel, you can also find a co-working space and a concept store in The Hub. While The Deck offers flexible studios suitable for events.
On the other hand, The Butcher Social Club is located in the hotel lobby offers a perfect avenue for young Amsterdammers who has been famous in the city.
In the restaurant, you can grab your meals throughout the day with Gourmet burgers, baby back ribs, salads, and smoothies. They also offer room service 24/7 if you don’t feel like going out.
Good to know: And if you have the courage to be daredevils and thrill-seekers, the ‘Over the Edge’ is calling you. Swing over Europe’s highest swing, 100 meters above the ground, back and forth over the edge of the tower with Amsterdam below your feet. Plus, you can get discounted access to the A’DAM Tower observation platform (€10 instead of €13, free after 9 pm) when you're booked in Sir Adam Hotel. You can also enjoy a cocktail at the rooftop terrace, especially recommended at sunset time.
