Morgan & Mees is one of the most beautiful Amsterdam hotels we know of.

The first time we have been searching for the best boutique hotels in Amsterdam, it was very clear we have to stay here! It is one of the small hotels in Amsterdam; it only has 9 rooms!

The elegant and bohemian design of the rooms and restaurant are so inviting to spend much time indoors. Simply put, when you are looking for a romantic Amsterdam hotel, Morgan & Mees should be the #1 on your list. And for a romantic experience, we also recommend booking the suite.

The 9 rooms are divided into three types:

  • Small Standard – a cute apartment studio with a queen-size bed
  • Deluxe Double – a design-led apartment with Smart TV, rain shower and other extras
  • Suite – perfect for special occasions like a romantic city break and longer stays

The restaurant also deserves an extra mention. The day starts with a fantastic coffee and delicious breakfast. Thus, you can choose from Continental, Vegetarian, Gluten-free or à la carte breakfast. While for lunch and dinner, your taste buds will be delighted too.

Good to know: Only 9 rooms; and it is sold-out fast! We recommend checking dates as early as possible for Morgan & Mees to secure your stay. The suite is a gorgeous accommodation to spend a romantic city break with your partner.

What about the Location?

The hotel is located in Frederik Hendrikbuurt, West Amsterdam. You are only a 5 minutes walk away from the famous Anne Frank House and the Jordan District. The inner city with Madame Tussaud is a 20 minutes walk away. After having dinner at the Morgan & Mees Restaurant, you can go out to "De Nieuwe Anita" for live music or the lounge-bar "sOwiesO eten en drinken" for a cocktail. Both places are just around the corner.
