Featuring a big collection of world-famous Danish mid-century vintage furniture, Hotel Alexandra offers the 1950s and ’60s antiques. And the property is very well known for its Danish design which is very well maintained by its owner Jeppe Mühlhausen.

Right in the lobby, you will be greeted with vintage sofas and chairs. You even get to play a vintage vinyl album on the turntable. The hotel basically takes you back in time plus staying in design-loving Danes.

Each room at the property offers a unique touch of Danish design and vintage furniture. Also, rooms have a clean-lined mid-century style and are all soundproofed. Moreover, rooms have a flat-screen TV, kettles, and fans.

However, the Collector’s Suite is remarkably different because you can make an offer to any furniture you would fall in love with since they’re all for sale. Not only do you stay with this furniture, but you also get to bring them home with you.

Furthermore, the hotel has an on-site restaurant (separately owned) where guests can catch breakfast. You can find it right next door or through the reception. But they also provide room service if you want it served at your door.

Breakfast is served through a lovely buffet with plenty of choices from fruits, yogurts, cereals, meat, cheese, salmon, and many other hot dishes. And if you feel like drinking, you can head to the hotel’s honesty bar in the lobby.

Good to know: Every night, guests can enjoy a nightly wine hour which I find it hard to miss.
