True to its name, G-Rough Rome follows a “rough-luxe” ethos. It offers a stripped-back historical building and fills it with interesting pieces from Italian designers.

G-Rough appeals the most to those who appreciate modern touches and trendy eclectic furnishings.

The hotel rooms are individually designed with no two rooms alike. Rooms are also equipped with private bathrooms with free toiletries and hairdryer.

On the other hand, each room also comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. While some rooms feature a seating area as well as a terrace or a balcony.

Moreover, the hotel has a very hip nature, so you wouldn’t expect anything formal. As a matter of fact, they do not have a reception area. But you’ll be asked to check-in instead at their bar over a coffee or prosecco.

The hotel also serves ‘Unconventional Experiences’ for guests. They offer tours of hidden Roman gems curated and personalized by the hotel.

However, there are not many facilities available, but they have a communal space in the bar. A great spot to grab a few drinks and chill through the night. The hotel also offers in-room massages upon request.

Good to know: If you are traveling with a group, there are two spacious apartment suites that can be combined into a single Penthouse Suite on the top floor. These rooms have coffee and tea making facilities as well as kitchenettes by the Italian brand Leftover.
