Housed in two striking 200-year-old canal-side warehouses, settled right where Nyhavn District and the harbor meets is 71 Nyhavn Hotel. The hotel features contemporary Danish stylish designs and big old rustic beams.

The lobby would be very much appreciated by art lovers since different paintings from the owner’s collection are displayed in this area. Also, the wooden beams can be seen throughout the property which adds character to the hotel and complements the white walls.

Moving over, room decors vary from each building. The yellow building has carpet floors, dark polished woods, and is quite classic. On the other hand, the red building has all the deluxe rooms. It has light wood floors and has contemporary furniture.

Rooms also offer large windows which creates natural lighting. Each room is also equipped with minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities. While some rooms offer great views of the canal. Don’t miss that chance. Totally worth it!

Moreover, you can find a Thai restaurant, the SEA by Kiin Kiin, in the hotel. This Michelin-star restaurant serves Southeast Asian dishes from lunch to dinner where you can also enjoy outdoor seating by the waterfront. While for breakfast, a buffet is offered with freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, assorted cooked items, yogurts, and smoothies.

And just opposite the restaurant is the hotel’s bar. The bar also offers its own beers brewed by Mikkeller. Furthermore, you can also choose among their great selection of gin.

On the other hand, there is no fitness facility on the property but you go to the Phoenix Hotel and use theirs. You can also buy tickets and hire bikes if you wish so.

Good to know: At the hotel's lobby, free coffee and tea are served every afternoon. And located the same as the lobby is a boutique where souvenirs can be bought.
